Humphrey Fellow Presents at Harvard Conference

Humphrey Fellow Marco Konopacki from Syracuse University presented his research about misinformation and disinformation in a youth context in Brazil at the Comparative Approaches to Disinformation Workshop at Harvard University. He focused on how Brazilian youth are dealing with, fighting against, and developing tools to counter disinformation. During the conference, Mr. Konopacki spoke about a project he has worked on with other Brazilian Fellows through the The Hablatam Project, a nonprofit organization focusing on digital policy and technological tools for youth. Mr. Konopacki also presented a poster at the Global Leadership Forum Poster Fair at the U.S. Department of State on the same topic.
